Semiramis was Nimrod's wife thousands of years ago when he built the Tower of Babel. Also the queen of the time, she was devastated when she lost him and went to the desert for forty days and forty nights. However, right after Nimrod's death she gave birth to a child called Tammuz. During her time in the desert made her realize that Tammuz was actaully Nimrod reborn.


Today, all djinn observe the Tammuz ritual as a passage into adulthood. It commemorates the passage of Nimrod and unearths the djinn power within.
