Gestalt slippers

Gestalt slippers were special slippers given to Philippa Gaunt as a gift for her heroic actions by Kublai Khan. They had magical properties as well as the "smell of strawberies" when the wearer used them. The slippers allowed the user to teleport from place to place and conjur up items without the use of a focus word, just by tapping them. Phillippa first used them in the Eye of the Forest and it helped save her from the explosion and from Dybukk's evil half. Afterwards, Philippa buried them in the forest because she believed that they were too powerful, which Nimrod had agreed with.
