Dr. Moody

Dr. Moody was the anesthesiologist from New York who performed the operation on John and Philippa to extract their wisdom teeth. He had a much more gruff and stern personality compared to the light and friendly attitude of Dr. Larr. When John asked him which anesthetic he was going to knock them out with and if they were going to have near-death experiences, he became annoyed and seemed to not like talking to children. At the end though, he smiles as he is about to leave.
