Baron Reinhold von Reinnerassig is a djinn of the Jann tribe that lives on the snow covered slopes of Annapurna. He is often humorously mistaken for the Abominable Snowman.
In the third book, he helps the Gaunts, Dybbuk, and Groanin after seeing their whirlwind. He even grants Groanin three wishes, but these were wasted.
